    202000 - Low Impact Fitness Exercise

    The Quincy Park District will once again offer Low Impact Fitness Classes this Fall, Winter and Spring. The class will feature a gentle warmup, floor exercise and a low impact style workout. The hour long class ends with cool down activities and stretches. Low impact fitness has been recommended by sports physicians across the nation for those wishing a safer workout. The stress to joints is greatly reduced by an avoidance of the jumping, pounding movements of the past. All sessions are open to everyone, male or female. Families are encouraged to participate together. Participants should bring a floor mat and are also encouraged to wear good athletic shoes. This class is taught by Diane Giesing, a long time L.I.F.E. participant/instructor substitute and fitness enthusiast. Pre registration is required.

    SUMMER
    This summer two sessions of Low Impact Fitness Exercise Classes will take place, with one sessions beginning in June and the other beginning in July. Summer L.I.F.E. will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-6:30pm. The class will follow the same structure as the other L.I.F.E. sessions. This class is taught by Diane Giesing. Pre-Registration is required.
