    101017 - Fishing Clinics

    Our fishing clinics are designed for beginners to seasoned veterans. Instructors provide a wide range of fishing knowledge, including safety tips. Grab your rod and reel and head to Moorman Lake! If you are bringing a large group, please notify the business office before hand so we can accommodate your needs. All fishing done during the clinics will be catch and release.
    Registration for this program will happen at Moorman Lake during program hours.

    105001 - Fishing Rodeo

    Rain or shine, bring your rod and reel out and try to catch the largest fish! Park District fishing staff will be on hand to guide the activity. Prizes will be awarded in various categories of competition and age groups. The Fishing Rodeo is a catch and release event. Begin your summer of fishing with this enjoyable event!

    On Thursday nights this summer, you will want to be in Washington Park as the Quincy Park District will sponsor a series of entertaining outdoor concerts. Each concert is FREE to the public on June 15, July 6 and July 20. Each night will feature a performance that will offer the people of Quincy a wide variety of music and entertainment. Each concert begins at 7:00 p.m.

    305002 - Amateur History Road Show

    The Amateur History Road Show is a great opportunity for amateur historians to share photographs, artifacts and stories of their families and local history with others. This event is co-sponsored with the Historical Society of Quincy and Adams County. Registration is not required and walk-ins are welcome, but if you would like to pre-register, please contact Tim Klobe, Recreation & Marketing Supervisor, at 217-919-0319. Only have one or two items? We would love to see them! Admission to the event is free, but we will be accepting canned goods to then donate to a local food bank.
